Our Nursery Room is for children between the ages of 3 months to 24 months. The room is fully equipped with toys and furniture designed for children between the age of 3 months to two years to explore and enjoy. We combine child initiated play with exciting sensory activities to engage the children, to give them the best beginning we can on their learning journey.
We ask parents to jot down their babies’ routine which we try and replicate at the nursery to ensure that babies in our care are comfortable. The activities are planned and evaluated for the babies in line with The Early Years Foundation stage. The babies are taken out into our outdoor area daily for fresh air and a change of scenery and are taken for walks along the beautiful countryside that surrounds the nursery. Practitioner’s working with the youngest children are expected to focus strongly on the three prime areas (Personal, Social and Emotional, Physical Development and Communication and Language), which are the basis for successful learning in the other four specific areas. The three prime areas reflect the keyskills and capacities all children need to develop and learn effectively, and become ready for school.
